We help software vendors make promises they can keep.
Mauby is a software company focused on the economics of complex contracts.
We build the record that connects what a vendor promises to what it costs to keep, rethinking from first principles how a deal should move from the first read of an RFP to the last delivery.
Software vendors that sell to large companies and governments win business by making promises. Hundreds of them in every bid, spread across RFPs, proposals, contracts and email, made by one team and kept by another. Most of those promises are tracked nowhere in particular. The cost shows up late: in custom work nobody priced, in deadlines nobody owned, and in margin that quietly disappears after signature.
We think a vendor should know what a deal will take before it signs, not after. When every promise is tied to its source, its effort and its cost, bid teams answer with confidence, delivery starts with a clear scope, and leadership can tell which deals are worth winning. Better deals make for better software, because the work customers pay for is work the vendor actually planned to do.
Mauby is early. We are building it in Canada for software companies that sell complex contracts, and we are working toward our first customers now. Our success depends entirely on theirs, so we build carefully. People make the decisions. Every number has a source. An unknown is shown as unknown, not dressed up as an answer.
Markets work best when buyers can trust what they are sold, and public money in particular deserves contracts that are understood by the people who sign them. We want to make it normal for a vendor to say yes only when it means yes.
